A Christmas Carol


Over the Christmas holiday I started and never finished my latest illustration inspired by my favorite author, Charles Dickens. The great Ronald Searle illustrated the title cards for the 1970 "Scrooge" film with Albert Finney. I was inspired so much by Searle's loose illustrations that I tried to embrace the loose and unrefined aspects of my own work, which I find most appealing. Soon to be finished, I hope.
